AIMA/NAS Part 1 Course in Maritime Archaeology

In collaboration with staff from of the Maritime Archaeology Department of the WA Museum, MAAWA is hoping to run AIMA/NAS training courses in January or February 2019. The general aim of the training to introduce the methods and procedures used in maritime archaeology, as well as to generate awareness of shipwreck preservation in Australia. On completion of each of the courses, students are awarded an AIMA/NAS certificate, which is internationally recognised, and a year of AIMA membership.
